What is BYAAC Plus?

BYAAC Plus (BIO-YOUNG Amino Acid Complex Plus) is a basic daily nutritional drink for everyone. It contains a mixture of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and L-Carnosine. The amino acids are extracted from soy protein, milk protein and colostrum. In all BYLC contains 20 amino acids, 12 vitamins and 12 minerals plus L-Carnosine.

2.

Vitamins and minerals seem familiar to me, but what about amino acids?

OK, now let me briefly explain this to you. We consume high protein food such as beans, fish, meat, dairy products and so on and so forth every day. These protein foods will be digested and broken down to their simplest form called amino acids. Amino acids are then absorbed through the small intestine and transported to every single part of our body through our blood stream. These amino acids are then reassembled by the body to form whatever proteins it requires. In other words, amino acids are the raw material of our body's protein. 70% of our body weight consists of protein; therefore we cannot deny that protein is one of the important elements of life. The important components of our body such as neurotransmitters, hormones, DNA, RNA, enzymes, blood, organs and other tissues are formed mainly from proteins. Our body needs 22 different major amino acids. Of these 22 amino acids, 8 are essential amino acids while 14 are non-essential amino acids. Our body cannot produce essential amino acids. It can only produce non-essential amino acids. Therefore, we need to obtain essential amino acids from external sources from the foods that we eat. One must also be bear in mind that the production of non-essential amino acids requires the presence of essential amino acids. That is why for our body to function properly it needs to have the full compliment of all 22 amino acids.

3.

What is L-Carnosine? How does it help in anti-aging?

L-Carnosine is a substance that prevents cell degeneration. It is naturally present in our body tissues especially in muscles, heart, kidneys and the brain. By the time we are 70 years old, tissue concentrations of L-Carnosine have declined by 63%. This means the concentration of L-Carnosine declines as we age. Studies have shown that L-Carnosine rejuvenates cells and extends cell life span. It has very powerful antioxidant properties and is a heavy metal detoxifier. L-Carnosine prevents and protects cellular proteins from being damaged and at the same time removes damaged proteins from cells. L-Carnosine thus has very potent anti-aging properties.

4.

How dose BYLC work?

The two major causes of aging are i) decline in HGH levels and ii) cell degeneration. BYLC addresses the anti-aging issue from a three prong angle. Firstly, amino acid complexes increase pituitary gland activity bringing HGH secretion back to more youthful levels. Once the stimulus for cell growth is there, BYLC provides all the raw ingredients (amino acids, vitamins and minerals) for the body to manufacture new quality cells. Lastly L-Carnosine ensures that cells live longer and function better.

5.

What are the differences between BYLC and other protein food supplements?

BYLC contains amino acids, not proteins. The meat, legumes, milk and others that we eat daily contain proteins. Our body cannot absorb proteins, as protein molecules are too big to pass through the lining of the small intestines. In a healthy person the intestinal lining, being a semi-permeable membrane, can only allow particle sizes of amino acids, dipeptides ( two amino acids chemically bonded together ) and tripeptides (three amino acids chemically bonded together) to pass through. Therefore, our body needs to digest and break down proteins into amino acids and peptides in order for them to be properly absorbed. Thereafter, our body will utilize different types of amino acids to form enzymes, hormones and others important elements to repair body cells and to maintain the operation of our body systems. This is why humans cannot live without amino acids.
Remember, all our body's organs are affected by the aging process. In fact the digestive system is the first system to age. With decreased stomach acid and digestive enzymes production, the body’s ability to digest and absorb protein decreases as one ages. Amino acids on the other hand do not require any further digestion. They can be absorbed directly by the small intestines and utilized immediately by the body. In contrast, protein digestion is a very slow process.

6.

Since we can obtain amino acids, vitamins and minerals from our daily food, why take BYLC?

It is wrong to assume that the foods we eat today are nutritious. Many foods are lacking in nutrients because of: over-farming, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, food processing, preparation techniques and storage conditions. In today's modern society we also face many forms of stress, are exposed to air and water pollution, and are prone to consuming processed foods. All these factors lead to malnutrition. Therefore, food supplements play a vital role here. BYLC provides directly absorbable free-form amino acids, vitamins, minerals, plus L-carnosine. It enables our body to heal speedily and improve overall organ function. Our body cells, tissues and organs are thus maintained at peak condition. Therefore, we not only look younger but feel younger and healthier as well.

7.

Besides providing amino acids, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, what other benefits does BYLC provide?

Scientists have proven that ARGININE, ORNITHINE, GLUTAMINE, GLYCINE, LYSINE, TRYPTOPHAN, and LEUCINE can influence the pituitary gland to secrete more HGH (human growth hormone). Scientists have discovered that the HGH content of an adult begins to decrease rapidly after the age of 20 years. Aging symptoms and signs are quite obvious after the age of 35 years. Through increasing back HGH levels, clinical studies have shown that we can reverse aging and become younger by 10-20 years.

8.

What is HGH? How does it help me?

Our body is made up of different systems such as the nervous system, digestive system, respiratory system, endocrine system and others. Each and every system has its important role to play. The endocrine system or hormonal system acts as a regulator for our body's many complex functions. This system monitors our body's reactions. In the endocrine system, there are several glands, which secrete different hormones on their own. Our body has more than 100 hormones and each hormone will influence different activities. These hormones' main role is to send signals to every cell in order for them to function properly. Once there are imbalances in the hormone levels, our body's system will not be at its peak, therefore illness results. The pituitary gland is one of the most important glands in the endocrine system. It is responsible for the secretion of 12 hormones, which includes HGH (Human Growth Hormone), one of the most important hormones in our body. Like an orchestra conductor, HGH sends signals to all other endocrine glands to regulate their level of hormone secretion in order to maintain balanced hormone output. This helps improve metabolic rate, upgrade functions of organs like the liver, kidney and heart, improve skin and hair conditions, as well as enhances memory.

9.

Does drinking HGH stimulating nutritional drinks like BYLC cause excessive production of HGH?

As long you are not taking synthetic hormones, you don't have this worry! This all-natural nutritional drink's function is to provide proper nutrients to your body and influence your pituitary gland to secrete the right amount of HGH. Amino acids do not upset the body’s natural hormone negative feed-back mechanism. BYLC does not wear out pituitary function. Being a food product BYLC does not contain any animal extracts, preservatives or hormones. Therefore, you can drink it without any worries.

10.

Does drinking BYLC in the long run cause any side effects?

BYLC is a food product, not a drug. Therefore, it does not cause any side effects. Today, Bio-Young's market encompasses Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Hong Kong, Macau, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan. Before Bio-Young can establish its market presence in these countries, the company has to comply with the respective health authority’s rules and regulations and pass all product evaluations. BYLC has been categorized as a food supplement and certified safe for consumption in all the above countries.

11.

Who drinks BYLC? How and when is the best time to consume it for optimal results?

BYLC is for adults who are 20 years old and above. The daily recommended dosage for adults below 35 years of age is 1 sachet a day and for adults above the age of 35 years, 2 sachets a day. You may consume 2 sachets at one time or separately i.e. one in the morning and one at night. Most importantly, BYLC should be consumed on an empty stomach because it contains only free form amino acids, which are directly absorbed. Consuming it on a full stomach will influence its absorption and negate its HGH releasing effects.
BYLC is best consumed 2 ½ to 3 hours after dinner or half an hour before breakfast. The most ideal time is just before retiring to bed. HGH is released in pulses and peak secretion occurs during the first 90 minutes of deep sleep. HGH is also secreted during strenuous exercise. Consuming BYLC just before exercise can enhance our physical strength.
BYLC comes in powder form and can be mixed with either warm or cold water. The ideal method is to use the Bio-Young shaker to shake it until it becomes smooth and delicious. Never use boiling water to prepare BYLC

12.

Can we mix BYLC with fruit juices or other drinks?

No. We do not encourage you to do so because BYLC’s uniqueness lies in its formula. Should you mix it with other drinks, this will affect its absorption and its efficacy. Since BYLC contains free-form amino acids, it must be taken on an empty stomach to ensure maximal absorption.

13.

Once we stop consuming BYLC, do we age very rapidly?

Certainly not! Rest assured that you are not going to age overnight when you stop taking BYLC. Never forget that we are aging every day and we are trying to delay the effects of aging by taking amino acid supplements. BYLC helps to increase HGH levels and to replenish all those nutrients that our body is lacking in. Upon stopping BYLC our body, after having been repaired and rejuvenated to a certain extent ( depending on the duration of use, the dosage used and the degree of response), will last for quite some time until the normal aging process catches up with us again. If you are responding well to BYLC would it be illogical to discontinue taking BYLC?

14.

Will drinking BYLC make someone fat? Does it contain any slimming effect?

BYLC is a very low calorie drink that supplies only 38 Kcal of energy per serving. This is equivalent to the energy derived from eating one apple. Its fat content is only 0.6g, which is equivalent to eating 2 red chillies or 2 kiwi fruits. Therefore, by itself BYLC is so low in calories that it dose not directly contribute to weight gain.
However, weight gain can occur indirectly. Our metabolic rate will increase after consuming Bio-Young, leading to increased appetite. Our digestive system works better digesting and absorbing more food( calories) than previously. During this period, we should be cautious of what we eat daily. One should be conscious of slight weight gains and immediately take precautionary steps to cut down on foods with high glycemic index such as junk food, biscuits, white bread, noodles, cakes etc. and to avoid any drinks sweetened with sugar. We should consume more high fiber foods such as oat bran, fruits and vegetables and drink more water.
HGH is a fat burner and studies have shown that it can reduce central body fat by 14%. For those people with a large waist line, BYLC may result in improvements in body shape giving them a slimmer, better figure.

15.

Should pregnant women drink BYLC?

The answer is NO. While most pregnancies end up with the delivery of normal babies, foetal abnormalities can sometimes occur. A woman could be exposed to a host of negative factors during her pregnancy and, should she also be on BYLC during this period, she could easily turn around and point the accusing finger at BYLC for causing her foetal abnormality. Under such circumstances it would be difficult to prove or disprove in the court of law that BYLC actually caused her foetal abnormality. To avoid being dragged into unnecessary litigation procedures, Bio-Young’s company’s standing policy is that all pregnant should not use BYLC.
However, we have had some consumers who knowingly took BYLC during the entire length their pregnancies and gave birth to normal healthy babies. From a theoretical and nutritional point of view, BYLC’s ingredients are all natural and should not be harmful to pregnant women. Pregnant women require additional nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins and minerals to ensure the healthy growth of the fetus in the mother's womb. BYLC is nutritional supplement drink which contains 20 amino acids, 12 vitamins and 12 minerals plus L-carnosine. L- carnosine is naturally present in our bodies especially in the muscles, heart, kidneys and brain. It is therefore recommended that pregnant women, who insist on continuing BYLC, should seek their doctor's advice first.

16.

Is BYLC suitable for children?

As mentioned, BYLC is an adult nutritional supplement. Therefore, children who have normal growth do not need it because they are capable of producing sufficient amounts of HGH. However, children who are physically stunted for 2 - 3 years can try taking Bio-Young. The recommended daily dosage is 1/4 sachet for a child who weighs 10kg or less, and 1/2 sachet for a child who weighs 20kg and below. In addition, parents should ensure that their children's diets are balanced to promote healthy growth.

17.

Is BYLC suitable for those having high uric acid?

High protein foods contain a lot of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) which are rich in purines. The breakdown of raw protein results in amino acids and purines, the latter of which is converted by the body to uric acid. The process of protein breakdown also generates a lot of ammonia. Ammonia is very toxic and our liver will have to change it to uric acid, which is not so toxic. Uric acid is insoluble. Our body also produces an enzyme called uricase, which is responsible for changing insoluble uric acids into a highly soluble compound. Hence, this soluble form of uric acid will be excreted through our urinary system. However, people with gout do not produce enough uricase in their body. When this happens, uric acids will form crystals and accumulate in the joints of our body causing pain. Besides this, the decline in our kidney's functions will reduce the excretion of uric acids and increase it's accumulation in our body. Therefore, gout, decline in kidney functions and high protein diets are the main cause of high uric acid in our body. That is why those who have high uric acid will have to control their protein intake while not forgetting that protein is still very important.
Only free-form amino acids have been extracted from the soy and milk sources in the preparation of BYLC. There are no purines present in BYLC. Therefore the likelihood of excessive production of uric acid is unlikely with the use of BYLC. The amino acids in BYLC can strengthen the function of internal organs such as the kidney and liver. Problems associated with high uric acid will be reduced when the kidney and liver functions return to normal. Furthermore, amino acids will also help repair joints and reduce joint pains. Patients with high uric acids can begin by taking half a sachet of BYLC daily for 1 to 2 weeks and then increase it to 1 sachet a day. This precautionary measure is view of the fact that there may be renal function impairment due to uric acid deposition in the kidneys in patients with high uric acid. In the absence of obvious renal impairment, there is no need for concomitant decrease of protein intake.

18.

Can patients with kidney problems take BYLC?

Most causes of kidney disorders will affect the kidney's performance and ultimately cause it to shrink and end in kidney failure. Therefore, people with kidney disorders need to reduce their protein intake so that their kidneys will not be overloaded. However, each and every cell in our body still requires amino acids for its daily functions and repair. Therefore, kidney problem patients, whose diets lack amino acids, will find their kidney function deteriorating faster over time.
In BYLC the main ingredients of amino acids do not have to go through any digestive process and can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Patients with kidney problems can start with half a sachet of BYLC a day and slowly increase to 1 sachet a day after a month. In introducing amino acids to a kidney patient, it would be prudent to proportionately reduce some of his/her protein intake so that the net amount of protein tolerable by the patient is not disturbed. This is to avoid overloading his/her kidney function.

19.

Should people with goiter take BYLC?

Goitre is defined as a swelling of the thyroid gland. Goiters are classified as either toxic or non-toxic depending on whether or not they cause symptoms. Non-toxic goiters do not cause systemic symptoms. They arise as a result of iodine deficiency in the diet. Toxic goiters on the other hand are highly symptomatic because of over-activity of the thyroid gland. Toxic goiter results when the pituitary gland produces too much thyroid stimulating hormone or TSH. When there is an overproduction of thyroid hormones, the metabolic rate increase to higher than normal, resulting in palpitations, anxiety, shivering hands, weight loss and often protrusion of the eyes. Without immediate treatment, the heart may overwork and fail.
BYLC can be taken by those with non-toxic goiter. For those with toxic goiter it is best to seek a doctor's advice before consuming BYLC. Some hyperthyroid patients have found BYLC to be helpful. If you are hyperthyroid, you can continue to take BYLC if your pulse rate does not go up and there is no aggravation of existing symptoms.

20.

How about those with diabetes? Can they consume BYLC?

Diabetics can consume BYLC. Firstly it is a sugar-free, low calorie drink --- only 38kCal/sachet. The sweetener used is aspartame, an FDA approved artificial sweetener that provides zero calories. Secondly diabetics generally lack amino acids. Clinical studies have shown that certain amino acids such as, L-ALANINE, L-ARGININE, L-GLYCINE, L-ORNITHINE, L-TAURINE, L-CYSTEINE and L-VALINE aid in the regulation of blood glucose and speed up the process of wound healing. In addition, L-ARGININE, L-ORNITHINE, L-GLUTAMINE, L-TRYPTOPHAN, L-LYSINE and L-LEUCINE influence the pituitary gland to secrete HGH. Although HGH does not directly help in the condition of diabetes, it is able to stimulate the liver to produce IGF-1 (Insulin Like Growth Factor-1). IGF-1 not only helps insulin to bring glucose to the cells, it also aids in the repair of degenerating pancreatic cells and restores normal function. IGF-1 also aids in burning off excess fat. Please be aware that being overweight is one of the risks in getting diabetes. When our body uses fat as an energy source, the blood glucose level will increase temporarily. After using up the fat, our body will move to using glucose as the energy source. At the same time, the repaired pancreas will be able to secrete sufficient insulin to transport glucose into the cells. After a period of time, blood glucose level will return to normal levels. However, diabetics will have to take care of their diet to prevent further health complications.

21.

Should cancer patients drink BYLC?

Cancer patients go into negative protein balance with resultant progressive weight loss because of the cancerous growth. Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery are common ways to treat cancer patients. During radiotherapy and chemotherapy, there will be unpleasant side effects such as rapid hair loss, nausea, appetite loss, emotional instability, slowdown in bodily systems function, weakened immune system and many more. Chemotherapy kills a lot of normal cells in the gastrointestinal tract. During the course of chemotherapy digestion and absorption processes are severely compromised and this aggravates further the existing negative protein balance. High protein foods normally prescribed during this period cannot be properly digested and absorbed. The ideal food, therefore for such patients, are amino acid complexes as these put no strain on the digestive system as they are directly absorbed and utilized.
Scientists have found that holistic therapy helps in improving the health of cancer patients. Dr. Matthias Rath from US found that 3 types of amino acids; Lysine, Proline, and Arginine, in addition to Vitamin C, can effectively control the spread of cancerous cells. Similarly, Arginine itself can increase the activity and effectiveness of lymphatic cells and the thymus gland, which in turn will produce more lymphocytes to combat cancer cells. Other than that, Aspartic acid, Carnitine, Cysteine, Glutathione, Lysine, Ornithine, Serine, Taurine, Threonine, vitamins and minerals will boost our body's immune system. Laboratory studies have shown that cancer culture cells die when L-Carnosine is added to the cell culture media. Cancer patients will definitely benefit from taking BYLC. A note of caution though is that BYLC is not to be touted as a cure for cancer.

22.

Can BYLC replace HRT( hormone replacement therapy)?

BYLC is a nutritional health supplement; not a drug. Therefore, BYLC can not replace HRT. However, some post menopausal women have found that they no longer need to take HRT after having been on BYLC for some time. This has to be confirmed by a doctor through a medical check up. It is not proper to stop the necessary medications without knowing the health status of our body.

Some consumers experienced healing crisis after consuming certain supplements. Will consumption of BYLC cause healing crisis too?

Will consumption of BYLC cause healing crisis too?
A minority of consumers will experience the healing crisis after drinking BYLC. The healing crisis is the body’s way of informing us that toxins are being eliminated from our bodies. Let us share with you what the healing crisis is all about. In this cleansing process, we will experience symptoms similar to illness. For a short while we will feel worse before we become better. Normally we will re-experience the symptoms of our illness in reverse order. Healing crisis symptoms include: body aches, fever, diarrhea, nausea, increased mucus secretion in the lungs and sinus, body odor problems, cramps, headaches, running nose, insomnia, fatigue, thirst, urine color may be darker and turbid, pimples, pus-filled sores and other skin eruptions may occur. If we have a lot of toxins in our body, the healing crisis will last longer.
During this period, drink more plain water to help flush out the toxins. Consume more mineral supplements to accelerate the effectiveness of enzymes. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Eat less junk food. Be more active physically to help shorten the healing crisis period. Avoid drinking carbonated drinks or chlorinated water because they spoil our body's enzymes. Carbonated drinks also contain a lot of phosphorus which may cause our body to lose calcium more rapidly. Cut down on meat intake because it takes more calcium, enzymes and minerals to digest meat. Meanwhile avoid any food treated with pesticides, and meat from animals that have been treated with antibiotics. Reduce alcohol consumption and avoid smoking.
